Hello and Welcome!! 

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that everyone is looking forward to the New Year!! 2026 is going to be a good one, I can feel it in my bones. 

Speaking of the New Year, exciting things are coming, as mentioned in Exciting Things Coming in Dare2Play in the New Year!

1. Already reflected in my webpage- We are getting a new name to go with our new purpose!! Dare2Talk is Dare2Play rebranded. I am so excited to share this new name with you all as I feel it encompasses more of what I want to be about in the coming year!! 
2. Also already reflected on the webpage- our new Logo! Thanks to Fiverr, we were able to create a logo for the Dare2Talk brand that reflects my personality, what the focus of the business is, and that shows one of my core challenges and motivations for this site- the brain. In honor of my brain lesions and what I called them in the hospital, the brain in the logo is named Bertha. Everyone, please show Bertha some love wherever you see her, as I want her to be shared across many social media platforms. Her purpose in life is to raise awareness about mental health and spread positivity. 
3. Special shoutout here to my amazing, wonderful mother, as she is the only reason this next is possible- Our Podcast is getting hosted through WordPress which will make it available on several different platforms all at the same time! You heard me! My podcast is coming, and it is getting out there!! How thrilling. I hope that you all tune in to the Dare2Talk podcast when it drops. It is set to release in the first full week of January. 
4. Last but certainly not least in our updates- A very special post is coming to the page on January 3, 2026, for the anniversary of my hospitalization one year ago exactly! Log in to read my first-ever publicly shared short story, highlighting my journey leading up to that fateful day. 

I look forward to seeing you all in future posts, and hopefully we will have some new friends joining us in the coming year!!
