Hello All.
I planned on getting a blog post out today on coping skills and their relationship to stress management and mental health. The post is over halfway written and will definitely come out next week; however, this week has been a bad symptom week.
I have a rare form of Multiple Sclerosis, and sometimes my body tells me no. My heart and mind say yes, but my head literally uncontrollably says no, shaking back and forth in a lovely pseudo-seizure or functional movement disorder, depending on what doctor we are talking to. This has been difficult and causes flares of other symptoms, such as fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, and speech issues, as well as flare-ups related to fatigue and sore muscles. As a result, I am unable to finish writing the post for this week on time, and it will have to drop next week, unfortunately.
I beg for your understanding and recognition that life happens, chronic illnesses are real, and symptom management can be tricky sometimes.
Thank you all for your continued understanding and support, and I will see you all next week with a more typical blog post.
-Dare.
